Awarded the 2016 American In-House Design Awards presented by Graphic Design USA magazine and the 2015 Gilbie Award Winner (from the Quicken Loans Family of Companies executive leadership) "Most Amazing Engineering" for the ISMs Book Eastern Market Edition

For most of 2014-2015, I worked closely with Quicken Loans' Chairman, Dan Gilbert, to revamp the 140-page company culture book which was mailed to 12,000 team members across the 95+ companies in the Family. The process began with multiple iterations of moodboard exploration for the theme and cover of the book with fellow illustrator, David Negro. After this step, the interior pages were redesigned into cleaner layouts, super legible typography, supplemented with colorful graphics and pictures. Jen Hansen and I collaborated to overhaul the book’s content to improve the flow of the book and provide impactful content to team members. We wanted to capture the achievements of the many areas of the business, and showcase the clients they’ve helped and the investments made to those communities. Two forms of packaging were also created to deliver to team members’ homes: one mailer for the book with a letter from Dan, and the other box held a View Master alongside the book and letter.
